Write About Your Family Heritage

Have you recently traveled somewhere to explore the culture of your ancestors?

We’re looking for immersive, first-hand stories of travelers who have planned a trip to explore their cultural heritage.

Returning to your roots is a big motivation to travel, and we want to hear your personal stories.

Visited a family estate in Spain? Explored your ties with the Danish royal family? How did it make you feel? What did you learn about your past and how did it change you? Pitch us your story below in 50 words or less.

Please note – we have a specific brief, with specific requirements for style, tone and approach. DO NOT SEND COMPLETED WORKS THROUGH MOJOS. You must apply to be awarded the commissions and we will be in touch if you are successful with more details regarding the assignment.

Payment: 50 cents (USD) per word, max 550 words. If you’re a blogger, writer or author, we’re also happy to put a backlink in the author bio. Supplementary photos are encouraged.

Expertise required: First-person travel writing. Stories will be sub-edited to suit our house style where required, but a personal tone is encouraged.
